Only had my new PC with Win 10 for a few weeks and already it seems I have problems. When I turned the PC on this morning, after a bit of struggling I got the message "You've been signed in with a temporary profile and your files are not visible".

Having looked on Google it appears this is happening to quite a number of Win 10 users. It has to happen on a weekend when my PC supplier is not working.

Anyone had this happen to their PC?

Normally happens (from windows 7 onward) when something corrupts on the profile.

Chkdsk the c drive and/or create a new user account to use then copy the files across

Could`nt you just do the old 3 finger salute (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and sign out and in again??

+1 for the suggestion made by neil_g

I've had a similar problem too. Waiting to see how you get on with yours.

Thanks for all the help.

Using CHKDSK reported no errors. I've now created a new user and currently copying all the files over from the old account.
