I've got a photo I'd like to submit. Just want to get clearance first. :)

All I've done with this image is crop it a little bit, nothing else.

The bestman (on the floor) stepped outside of the Church and promptly broke his leg. Right there, he's waiting for the ambulance to come. The bride and bridesmaids went outside with what was left of the petals from the flower girls baskets and the bride started throwing them over the best man, saying "I bless you for being our best man, and I bless you for your broken leg, and..." etc.

I know that I could edit it and get rid of the drinpipe etc, but I think (apart from cropping it a little bit) this is one of those pictures that the nitty gritty truth helps tell the story. Taken with a bridge camera before I got my DSLR. Taken in April 09.

By clearance do you mean along the lines of "anyone connected with the running of the site/contest cannot enter" sort of thing?

What's the normal TP policy?

LOL Noooo
I was helping a photographer / second shooter.
Been keeping all my own shots from the day under wraps until I got the go ahead to use my own shots for myself :)

AT a recent wedding, the B&G left bowls of sweets out for the kiddies, during the speeches, I caught this little chap helping himself with his toy shovel!! He was running around at 100mph 20 mins later on a massive sugar high.

This is what happens when the groom goes too high when trying to remove the brides garter.

whittyP that's awesome!!
LOL is that was really happened? or just a decent caption? was it a prank setup by the groom?

it would have been a prank setup, there is no way any woman would let their new husband show off the knickers she has been wearing all day under a hot wedding dress :)

Here is my entry, taken on 15 August 2009 at my cousins pre-wedding party... The track "De De Gera" came on and well everyone goes crazy for this tune at indian parties because of the dance that goes with it (basically link arms and spin around as fast as you can)... So I quick make a dash for my camera and caught this pic :D

thought as much, they did seem pretty clean!!
cracking jape though :) full marks to the groom for risking an ear bashing later on

my meager contribution to take part
from the speech given by the Father of the Bride said:
my daughter always gets what she plans. Her degree, her fiancée, her wedding, I assume within a few years she'll be planning children. I'm quite looking forward to being a grandfather...but not so happy about sleeping with a grandma
His wife's reaction...

It was a prank set up by the groom but no one knew that he was going to do it. He sat her down to remove her garter, then went down under her wedding dress and then pulled them out. What was really funny was that none of the brides family spoke english so the interpretor had to explain what was supposed to be going on.
