Anyone installed, or know if you can install windows 11 on a mac using bootcamp?

Are the sale of the laptop and windows 11 related or did you just not want the laptop any more?
 
Regards M1 stuff I decided to hold off on that and last weekend bought a 2020 27" mac.
Although I quite like the look of the 24" versions.
 
They are taking forever to build mine!
I am almost ready to give up and keep the current M1 13" laptop since I don't want to make a huge loss on it at the moment :(
 
Well, I tried (and failed) to install windows 11 on my mac.
I immediately gave up and reverted to win 10.
I cannot recall what the message was in bootcamp, I guess I'll re-visit W11 when I have more time.

I actually never installed win11 IIRC, I upgraded from my win 10 installion.
Or rather it was my brothers laptop and he had windows 10 on it already and I simply upgraded it following microsofts upgrade client of whatever.

But basically you need to have secure boot enabled (this is a requirement for non mac computers I think) and your computer needs to have TPM chip (which the 2019 16" MPBs do so I imagine a 2020 model do as well).

Edit:
I reverted back to win10 btw because the only reason I had for windows was to use a certain stacking software and an old printed. The printer stopped working on win11 and the stacking software was awful slow (well slower than it normally is anyway). So I decided to go back to win10.

I don't know what chip my computer has it's either a 10 core i7 or i9.
Actually, I don't know a lot about computers.

hmmm if you can attach the "About this mac" screenshot here I am sure one of us could help you in looking it up.

if you don't want us to see your serial number block it out by all means (or PM me)
