Yes
Alright then?

I've been looking into buying a cheap flashgun for my Sony A100, and today i was it the jessops store and found one for £100 (and there was one for £20 but i was told it was generally for film cameras and one for £35, not sure how good that is either!!). Sounded great since everytime i looked on the internet you're talking like £300!

So here it is
http://www.whatdigitalcamera.com/equipment/flashguns/675/1/jessops

Flashgun- Jessops 360 AF DC

firstly, anyone own one or know if its decent?
and secondly, i asked the guy in the store if it fits ony and he said it did, but on the internet it says it fits Canon, Nikon & Pentax cameras. Don't they have different hot shoes to Sony Alphas?

Cheers for any replies!
Melissa :)

Yes, it's a decent flashgun, but no, it won't fit directly onto your Alpha. That's the problem with Sony cameras, you need a Sony/Minolta-fit flashgun. The alternative is to get a hotshoe adapter from Ebay to allow you to use a "normal" flashgun, but you'd more than likely be limited to manual only.

yup thats the flashgun!
although now I'm confused, stan & flash are saying two different things!

atleast i know i can get it then, but will i need a hotshoe adapter?

wait.. no longer confused. Stan's link is to the same flash for Sony, my link was to the Canon/Nikon one. it's all good!
thanks guys!!

And here it is in the flesh (well, plastic really)
