You'd think I'd learn not order stuff online, esp. after the laptop I got recently... but no... muggins orders a shiny new Samsung 205BW 20.1 TFT from Pixmania - order before 10am and they will dispatch same day on the express service. So Sunday night I placed my order (well before 10am Monday) and now they tell me it's not being dispatched until Tuesday.

imagine the next few lines are filled with obscenities as I vent acid steam over another delivery foul up.

Still every cloud.... I was asked today if I'd shoot the Exe Descent canoe race in a couple of weeks time... paid work... who'da thunk it...

Pixmania are notorious for their late delivery and shoddy service. I had a similar thing from ebuyer too. Nightmare. It's worth doing your research into these super cheap online stores before you pruchase from them. There are many reliable ones out there who offer good prices.
 
I've never had any probs with ebuyer but they were about £50 more so I took a chance... typical really. Hey ho...
 
My wifes canon ixus was from Pixmania - it came on time but was a french version with no english instructions. Had to download and print the manual myself. I pass on pixmania offers now.

So it's one day late. That can't be a problem, can it? If you really need something that urgently then why order online? :shrug:

If you need cheap - order online

If you need urgent - venture outdoors :p
 
I bought two video cameras not available in the UK from Pixmania last year. Everything went to plan, great products and great prices. Luck of the draw? :shrug:
