Will I have A Job

I have been off work this week on holiday , but have been watching the share price of the company as we have a share save scheme. Well in the last 14 day the share value has been dropping from 250p down to 78p today (was at 50p this afternoon) Now they are in talks with their bank .

Dummy's will not sell a loss making part of the group 'at a value not in the group's interest' . Seeing that this non-core part of the company has NEVER made a single penny profit I would have thought any price they could get would be in the company's interest just to dump it.

Oh I forget management always know best.

I wonder if I'll have a company to go back to on Monday

Me too - I really don't wish that on anyone. I haved worked in the Telcoms industry for 10 years and it's pretty much been a constant chain around your neck. Very best wishes I hope all is well in the morning....

I'm not worreid really, as if the share price gets low enough I'm sure our main competitor will buy us out anyway.

As I've been made redundant before, it's not something I worry about.
