Will I gain anything?

Hi all, firstly I am really getting into photography big style. Got my Canon 500D a year last October and over te last 6-8 months have really got into the creative side of things with Light-Painting and a bit more landscapes etc. I have been looking at possible swapping all my stuff and getting a 5Dc with one lens instead.

My kit just now: Canon 500d, 18-55is, 55-250is, 50 1.8, Sigma 10-20 4-5.6.
What I would move to: Canon 5Dc, 50 1.8 and ***

I do a lot of low light work with the Light-Painting, so would I gain anything with respect lower noise? IQ? Would I lose out with anything? Say the reduction in Pixel Count?

I would like to get the 5Dc along with a general lens, I wouldn't be able to afford the 24-105L, but maybe some along them lines. I would like to fund everything through the sale of the above minus the 50mm.

What's your thoughts?

I shoot with a few lads who use the 500d's, 550d's and 1000d's, they produce stunning photos. I'd say don't worry about the body just yet- Unless there's something specific you'd like to change because of?

I wouldn't swap all the gear you've got for a 5Dc and one lens, you won't see sufficient change in results to offset the reduction in capacity for different shots you'll lose IMO.
