Will CS3 work on a 64bit machine?

As title, looking at getting a laptop but don't know if PS CS3 will work on a 64bit platform, can anyone shed some light before a splash the cash?

I ran CS3 on Vista 64 Ultimate for some time before I upgraded to CS4.

I think XP pro is 64bit but not sure and it runs ok with that.

It works for me on 64bit Windows 7 beta, if that helps

Most x32 software will run on x64 systems

I know that CS3 will from experience!

XP Pro is 32-bit. XP Pro x64 is, as the title suggests, 64-bit.

The only problem with CS3 and 64-bit that I've seen is CS3 Web Premium hates installing onto it. Especially Vista, unless you get creative with the installation order.

I thought that CS was optimised at this stage for 64bit and dual core operation..??
