I went to the last one, and it was a good do. Parking is free, however, you'll struggle to park at the hotel, although I think they had additional parking at the tuck museum and a shuttle bus. I ended up parking so far away I might as well have walked as I only live about 2 miles away..........

Mmmm! I wonder what sort of snacks they have in that tuck museum, and if it's anywhere near the truck museum :lol:

I guess get there early would be a good idea, if you don't want to walk them ;)

I wonder if they will have anything competitively priced for a change. Now that would be a real first for Wilkinsons !

Have you seen the prices for the one in Warrington ? Very competitive and decent stocks it seems. I was recently in the market for a new Nikon 70-200 F2.8 AFS VR II, and not only was their price within £20 of the best on the web (UK only) @ £1640, they even had it in stock in their store as well as the 14-24 F2.8, 24-70 F2.8, 16-35 F4.

Finally a decent store to compete with the jokers Jessops around the corner (who never seem to have much Nikon gear in stock anyway).

I bought my 60D and a Sigma lens at the show last year, they do special offers on the day, good opportunity to have a play with lenses etc. I have booked the Speedlite session although I use Canon I am sure the principle is the same.

I am looking forward to it.

parking at the tuck shop.

hink Andy was hungry :D it was posted at 12-20pm

Ive had some great deals from the Preston shop, mostly cheaper than WE and jessops, always willing to price match and give web deals at the same price instore, great service

Has anyone got anything from them after booking a seminar, I book and have nothing, but my dad booked the next day and has received an invoice in the post, both for the free speedlight event.

Mine turned up later in the day :)
