Hi all,

I'm looking for some nice places to try wildlife photography the only places near me that I can think of are parts of the Stour valley walk in Grove Ferry, Stodmarsh and Ashford.

I'm not looking at photographing any particular wildlife so a mix of locations would be nice.

Thanks in advance
Nathan :)

Wye downs is great for butterflies, rspb reserve at Dungeness is great for water birds and also smaller birds like whitethroat, linnet and various warblers. Also dragonflies and butterflies are numerous there too.

The British Wildlife Centre at Lingfield is a great place, have shot there many times myself. Theres also Wildwood down near Herne Bay, but not as good as BWC.

Cheers, I'm trying to steer clear of zoos and wildlife parks as I'm trying to catch animals in there natural environment rather than in an enclosure or cage

Pegwell Bay near Sandwich has plenty of wildlife, including birds and seals
