Wildlife Photography guidance

I've just upgraded my equipment. One of the things I wanted to do when I had the chance to buy some new gear was to get into wildlife photography.

I've been a member of various wildlife groups for many years but as a casual bystander rather than someone who got involved & went on meets & trips.

I'm wondering whether there is anyone in the Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshre/Bedfordshire/Suffolk area who wouldn't mind me tagging along on a photoshoot somewhere to give me some guidance on wildlife photography.

I must be one of those really annoying people, has all the gear but no idea how to use it - well, I'm reasonably competent (in a keen amatuer kind of way) with the gear, I just have no idea of the fieldcraft needed to get the best from it.

I am currently on a break from work so am available midweek most days & when I get back to work in March I work shifts so again midweek is preferable.

I'd be grateful for some guidance in the field if anyone feels like a shooting partner some time & I can travel.

Not specifically, I enjoy all forms. Am up for anything really.

I dunno about 'guidance', but yer welcome to stroll round one of my local lakes next time I go. Midweek is usually the best time; less people. I've got a week off at the end of the month, so I'll be about most days. I'm in MK, Bucks.
