The museum itself is free, but the exhibitions inside (currently Darwin and WPOTY) are not - a family ticket for WPOTY is £18 from memory

I went a couple of Saturdays back and the photos were great, up to the usual high standards.
The crowds were annoying though. I've previously been on the Sunday before Christmas when I think everyone else is out making last minute Christmas purchases so it's been a lot quieter. There seemed to be a lot of people who thought standing a foot away from the photo and blocking them from everyone else was a terrific idea.
