2Kw is a massive power output for wireless - i'd think you be getting a knock at the door from whoever controls the radio waves these days

Just looked at the ad its 2W which is also massive - it looks like the legal limit is 100mW

looking at the details...
Output Power 2000mW/33dBm nominal for 802.11b/11Mbps
Would love to know if you get one how good the range is, 2000-2500m sound a like optimistic, and probably not very legal in the UK.

I'd be wary of that seller, they're in China but trying to pretend otherwise for a start.
The feedback score is OK but comments are unconvincing.
There are better ways to increase your wifi range like homeplugs or repeater units.

Typical of Chinese sellers, they say anything knowing you are unlikely to pay to send it back if it doesn't meet the stated specs, even supposing in this case you could accurately measure the performance.

It might do the job, but a noise figure of 3dB is quite high which would affect the signal more the weaker it gets.

Thanks for all the info guys.
I have decided to buy a different arieal for my router and maybe try the repeater plugs too.
Its more for phones and ipads more than anything else.

what router do you have - make and model
quite a few aerials around if you have a removable aerial
Also i have found that on many routers a small change in location or even aerial orientation can make a big difference
