Can anyone reccomend a strap wider and with a bit of padding to replace the standard Canon jobby, found myself walking round Whitby the other week with the strap round my neck but taking all the weight of the camera in my hands :thinking:
 
I bought an Optech Pro one for my 5d2, it's transformed the experience of carrying it! It spreads the weight much better, feels really comfortable over the shoulder or around my neck, and has (very secure) quick release clip in bits to remove the strap from the camera if you so desire. Well worth £17 (from London Camera Exchange)
 
Agreed. Go for the Pro Loop Strap, excellent.
 
Optech Pro = awesome stuff. Even more awesome if it has the TP logo on it...
 
Looks like it has to be the Optech pro then, now ordered from Digital Depot.

Don't those rubbery nodules irritate your neck? I've been looking at changing the standard Canon strap but haven't tried the Optechs yet.
 
Nupe - the nodules are seriously soft and give it good grip round your neck :)
 
i have a optech too, i have a r-strap also for very long days i used it for 10 days at vegas, top stuff

Get a Crumpler Jam Croissant Industry Disgrace. Total comfy as anything. Nice chunky neoprene.
 
I've got an Optech, it's good but too short really for me. Comfy as hell though.

Optech - REPORTER STRAP

I only use it for one camera but it gives you total freedom when changing from neck strap to tripod if you setup correctly

The r-strap what a gimmick......made for £2 from your local climbing shop

What's this about a TP strap, can you explain a little more, please?

Sorry if I've missed something obvious but I'm new here.
 
TP in the past has sold Optech Pro straps with the TP logo on them :)
