The same, to all intents and purposes.

In theory (on Nikon) the dx set up would be 15mm equivalent but lens manufacturers are rarely spot on so I wouldn't be surprised if they're basically the same.

Sigma 12-24 on an Fx body!

Of the 2 examples listed, the Sigma has it by a short head but at extreme wide angles, every mm counts. The Sigma is marginally faster maximum aperture (the latest version is f/3.5).

Or Sigma 8-16mm on dx, which a lot of people seem to believe doesn't exist.
