Wide Angle Filters

I was just wondering if anyone has tried a wide angle converter filter out and what they thought about them.

Obviously i know that the quality of a picture will not be the same as a wide angle lens, but at the same time they are alot cheaper and a more viable option as a starting point to get into wide angle scenes.

Has anyone herd of / tried goods by marumi, i read about them through the Photoplus magazine so thought they may be ok?

Any suggestions and thoughts are greatly appreciated!

The only Marumi product I have tried is the CP but that seems pretty good for the money to me. No idea about wide angle filters though

I use Marumi CP with my Sigma 10-20, it's very good for the price and doesn't vignet at all. Well recommended

I use the Marumi C-Pol and its excellent.

Ok, so you guys seem to think Marumi is a good make.

Has anyone used a wide angle converter by this ke or anyother make before?
