Wide Angle Add on Lens.....

Just wondering if anyone has ever used one of these style lenses and if they are any good?

I cannot afford a proper wide angle lens due to losing my job, but wondered if one of these would be worth playing with as i got an amazon voucher.

Thanks in advance! And if anyone ould show any examples i'd be most gratefull!

You get what you pay for, if your voucher happened to cover the cost then it's worth a punt......I suppose

Would not touch with a barge pole - tried odd ball teleconverter add on thingy a few years ago at a low price and it was horrible!

Also - be careful about using AMAZON partners - purchased a 4Gb "Sandisk" card from one of those eighteen months ago and when it went faulty, SANDISK wouldn't have anything to do with it - a fake - and AMAZON just washed their hands of the matter.

I once used one like this on a fuji s602 and a canon g3 and they both suffered massive vignetting and I paid a shed load more than 20 quid....also you may need step up or step down adapter rings to make it fit.
