Today was the day of our Photo Society Portsmouth Photo Scavenger Hunt. We went around the city in teams with a list of themes to take photos of. Today's photo is of some leaves on the pavement.

Today's photo is of my new drumsticks which arrived this morning. I have broken about 5 pairs of regular drumsticks over the past couple of months, so I decided to invest in these Ahead ones. They have an aluminium core and replacable covers, so should last much longer than regular wooden sticks. We'll see about that!

Today, I shot Motörhead at the Southampton Guildhall. The lighting was very challenging; a lot of reds/pinks and backlighting, but Motörhead were awesome!

There was an hour wait at Eastleigh for the train journey home, so we wandered around the town for a bit taking photos (and I got a Domino's pizza because I was hungry and it was the only place open!)

Today's photo marks the end of 2010, and the end of my 365 project.

I've taken almost 10,000 photos this year, and this project has definitely helped me take a new look at the world around for interesting ways to capture it. There were challenging days, where I was stuck for a subject or just too tired after a hard day's revision, but I managed to have a photo for every day (even if the quality was a bit below my expected standards!) I don't think I'd do another 365 project any time soon though, but it's something that I'm glad I've done.

So let's see what 2011 has in store for me!
