Why !!!

well if my child was attending that school - i would remove them instantly.

You've got a decent honest person looking out for the well fare of the children and she gets sacked.

Only in Britain.

I don't know how much of this is really true, but unfortunately it sounds fairly normal in todays society. The school should be applauding their dinner lady not sacking her. But I'm afraid common sense just isn't so common nowadays.

A newspaper or two has said that one of the bullies is the son of one of the school governors.

I am on the dinner ladies side.

I think the headmistress should be suspended and an enquiry held.

It is a sad state of affairs indeed. This isn't the first time a whistle-blower has been sacked or suspended for simply telling the truth.

Turns out that one of the bully boys is the son of a governor of that school.

I suppose I could understand the school not being impressed with her going to the parents rather than the staff. Then again, if said bully is the son of one the governors that does put a different complexion on it.

Seems more to me like the school was embarassed by it, that one of it's ancilliary staff acted on the incident rather than the teachers, and indeed headmistress. Maybe the headmistress should be suspended, and maybe in exquiry should be held. Who knows how many other instances of bullying have been whitewashed over for the sake of protecting the reputation of the school, it's staff and it's board of governors.

This case involved a 7 yo girl being tied to a fence and whipped with a skipping rope.

It is an outrage that a school would attempt to conceal this.

Is there an organised protest about this.???
