Why won't it die?

I have a folder in "my music" which keeps returning after deletion when media player is opened.

The folder is empty and shows as 0 bytes, i've made sure that there is nothing hidden inside, but still it comes back in the "my music" folder each time media player opens.

It's annoying me, so much so that I uninstalled media player 10, rebooted and downloaded and installed media player 11

And still it's there

What's it called? It'll be some software youve installed that keeps putting it in there.

Personally I use registry tweaks to kill all the my music and my pictures folders

check the prefs in media player for where it rips music too, i suspect thats the folder that keeps reappearing

It seems to be sorted now, i'll know for sure tomorrow after it's had a cold start

I have no idea why it put the folder there, I've never ripped music to the folder as it used to go directly to "my music" and even more bizarre......I nuked all the music in media player 10 and then nuked the program, installed media player 11 (which I don't think i like the look of) and then allowed 11 to search the backed up music.

iTunes - even if you haven't got an iPod... it's great - apart from saving everything as a file not usable in any other application in the world... ever!

I have itunes on here too, it's bad enough that I have to use the program to get music onto my ipod.....why is it soooo hard to make that program find newly added music files?

LOL i have to do add new folder everytime i add an album or song ! what a pain in the arris !

itunes is great providing you set it to import music in VBR MP3 and have lots of RAM, I use Winamp most of the time

ive it to import as mp3's

also ive set it so that when i drag a file into it, or double click a file to play it, if its not in the itunes library, it copies it to the itunes folder for me, job sorted!


i hate apple. but i like itunes
