Why won't cs4 open 50d raw files??

I believe CS4 will open raw files for you if you update the Adobe Camera Raw plug-in to the latest version. All necessary instructions on Adobe website....
 
You can launch the Adobe Update program from within Photoshop or any other CS4 application (in the Help menu)

Alternatively, you can launch the updater program manually.. it's located here for CS4:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater6\Adobe_Updater.exe

I have a shortcut to it on my desktop :)

I had the same problem with 5d2 and 7d files so I gust run the updates from the help menu.
