Well I suppose at least he was suspended fairly quickly by the party hierarchy unlike the procrastinating LibDems and Mr Gropey.;)

Last time I saw, 'Mr Gropey' had not been found guilty of anything. If your company did the same to you you would be the first to moan.

I would. I own it and I'm the only employee.

But seriously, as you quoted elsewhere, the evidence against Mr Gropey was "broadly credible". He wasn't on trial, it was an internal investigation. I don't think it's unreasonable for the (4?) women involved to have an expectation of safety and respect in their workplace in the 21st century, is it?

By all means if he is guilty then he needs to apologise, be sacked etc... But until he gets convicted neither of those should happen.

But the workplace is not a criminal court - it doesn't need the same level of proof to determine culpability. It's his word against four others and it's as much about an abuse of power as it is about wandering hands. Anyway, I feel like talking about Anelka next but maybe that's best left for the football thread :)
