Why is my CS6 so slow

When I go into the printing process in CS6 every command I give takes about 2 minutes to respond. Its driving me nuts.
Any bright ideas what might be wrong please? PC clogged up?

Is it JUST the printing stage that's this slow? If so, it may not be Photoshop at all, but your printer driver causing you problems.

Is everything else working normally? If so, then why suspect your PC is "clogged up"? If that was the case, any demanding application would be slowing down. Have you noticed such behaviour with other programs of general use?

Yes its just the printing process. Have downloaded the latest Epson R2880 drivers and no improvement?!

I'd try re-intsalling Photoshop. Un-install it fully first before yo do though. If nothing else is slow, then it's probably one of those two things... you've tried one, so try the other.
