Yes
. . . that whenever I reply to a post, I then notice grammatical or/and spelling errors AFTER I send the post off . . . and not WHILE I'm putting together that post.
Hence why you ALWAYS see this "edited on" thing at the bottom of every single one of my post.

Apart from this one, funnily enough.

I don't do on just this forum alone, I do it in Facebook (where you can't re-edit your comments in there!) and in a couple of other forums I'm a member of.
Or is it just me being the perfectionist that I am?

Nope, your not the only one. I tend to do it, Unfortunatly mostly with emails. So I cant resend or edit the email :bang:

LOL. That's me all over now. I could edit a post any time when I was modding, now you just seem to have a minute or so to correct any errors and then you're stuffed.

It's cause yer concentrating so hard to produce the excellent posts that you do Ian concentrating on content rather than spelling. Who IS perfect? Just makes you human. Yeah right! :lol:

no - it's just you, we're perfect :D

it happens all the time to me

Don't worry Ian
I cannot sometimes recognize my mistakes even after a thorough search...
:lol::lol::lol:

Did ya wanna maintain that unbroken record Ian? If so, just edit the above to include an "it" :lol:

Personally I wouldn't worry. You're not alone and as long as the message gets across. Good spelling and grammar is wonderful but let's face it, posting it wrong on a forum isn't the end of the world. ;)

Why, that is a lovely thing to say! A nice way to start a Monday morning. :) :) :)
At least I know I'm not alone in being slightly OCD when it comes to doing my posts and threads. :D
You might be interested to know that I'm partially hearing (60% hearing loss in both ears), have been so all my life, so I guess I'm a little "paranoid" about it affecting my grammar. I guess it's a subconscious thing where I don't really like to be "treated" as a deaf person, if you know what I mean? Heck, I even do my text messages in normal English rather than this "l33t streetwize r u ok" shorthand thing (it took me longer to do it that way!).
Anyway, I'm rambling on a bit but thanks for all your replies to this thread, especially that lovely little comment above. :thumbs:
