Why is asking someone out so difficult? UPDATED!!!

Stop panicing and planning, be yourself, play things by ear and enjoy yourself...

The mroe you worry about the whats, ifs and maybes the more of a tizz you'll work yourself into and the less like yourself you'll be like on your date, go out, have fun and enjoy yourself. If he doesn't like you for being you he isn't worth knowing :D

Just relax and be yourself.
It's not as if you don't know one another - you probably chat all the time, so this shouldn't be any different.

What a lovely thread! My faith in human nature is restored...... Squizza, choice of venue is central to a nice relaxing evening. Def away from anything work related. Quiet pub and a meal maybe? Or ask what he fancies doing....he will answer with something he feels comfortable with.
But relax and enjoy! Do tell us how it went though.

Is he into photogaphy?
If the first date goes well, ask him to join you on a photowalk and see what happens.
If he looks bored or shows a lack of interest then find a fella who is into photography :D

He does like photography and often asks how my degree is going. He's not a photographer but does like looking at photos. I didn't ask what type though :lol::D

I was previously with someone who is a photographer. It didn't work out and I think he felt threatened by me :lol:
 
I hope I find a girl that loves Canon and has some nice kit. :D
 
Congratulations Sarah :) Only just seen this thread. Hope you have a fantastic time Thursday! I was working behind the bar when I decided to ask Jim out....I told him to wait at the end of the bar till I finished work at 2am and he did........four years a house and a baby later and it's still groovy :) Sometimes you jusy know when you've found a goodun!

I've known him for about 4 or 5 months. Can't remember exactly how long - its all a daze. :lol:
 
Maybe he's as nervous as you are but without the forum to let things out and talk...

Don't be gutted you'll get there, the hardest part is done :D

Is it him that's double booked?
Perhaps he's feeling a bit nervous about it.

You've done the hardest part, so the best thing may be to back off a little now and leave the ball in his court to come up with a date and time for next week. Let him feel like he has a bit of control over the situation.

Ah well. At least it gave me an excuse to stuff my face with nutella on toast.

And I'm a red head (dark red) now so I'm happy coz of that. Not that that has anything to do with this. lol
