I thought that I would report back on the school reunion.

I did attend and had a very good time. I was immediately recognised by several people and everyone was very kind to me.
Many said that they were so pleased that I had done so well after such a poor start. Whilst at school I had to work from an early age in order to buy my own clothes etc. This had not realised that it was such a big deal at the time.
Several people said that they were inspired by me, that I was a kind person and helped raise the spirits of the class.

I spent most of the night apologising for not remembering them due to excesses of alcohol, anaesthesia and soft drugs in the past.

I did point out that anyone who could remember the 60's clearly was not there.

To all who advised me to go - many thanks
