Hi guys, thought I'd register and say hello.

If you need to know anything about me, just ask.

Camera specs in my sig, along with my flickr. I'll be posting a few pics soon, as well as trying to be an active member of the community :)

Camera history is a bit of a long one, started with a Nikon D70, then D80, d300, then moved to a Canon 5Dmkii, downsized to a 500D then up again to a 7D !!
 
Thanks for the welcome guys. The move from Nikon to Canon ? nothing terribly important. I just wanted to see what Canon was all about. I couldn't fault my Nikons in any way, I was just curious. Having now used both for a while, I do slightly prefer the handling of Canon (button placement, etc) but image wise I've seen no difference. In fact, I've been temped back by a D700, maybe even a D3s. I love the way Nikon have't tried to cram as many pixels through it's sensors which results in really clean files. I wish the 7D only had 15mp. ISO performance is OK, but nothing compared to the D700 (which my father in law has, and shoots at 3200 with hardly any noise !)
