Why does my internet die overnight?

I have a Windows 10 machine. It is connected to a 4G modem via Homeplugs. If I leave the machine on overnight then in the morning I will have no internet connection.

It seems to die sometime in the night because usually I've left it on for a long download which will fail.

When it occurs, I tend to fiddle with a few things that don't work and then just restart. This fixes it immediately. What's going on?
 
Wild guess that your 4G provider has a session duration limit - so try restarting the connection just before you go to bed and see if that makes a difference?

Also something may be disturbing the homeplugs causing the connection between them to drop which causes idling on the internet connection and it drops...

Oh - that seems an interesting answer. It would explain why I can't find anything on the computer settings :)

If I turn on a different Win10 machine (using wifi) whilst mine can't connect then it can connect. I guess a per machine session limit would fit this pattern. Also, it's exactly the kind of thing Three would do......
 
That looks to be a dhcp lease (gives the device its IP address on your network)
I would see if the 4g modem has a option to assign the pc a static (dedicated) IP, rather than a dynamic one.
