Why do expectant mums go round in tight T shirts?

Couldn't resist it.....

Because it's fashionable !!!

:whistling::whistling::whistling:

Seriously though, Why is it bad? - rather see a pregnant tum in tight top than an under-excercised alter to the gods of fast food, cheap booze and general modern living.

What else are they supposed to wear. Tents?

i quite like the look (ina non pervy way!) kinda makes me go awww. Its alot better than flab trying to escape from under the t-shirts. Have you ever though they might be proud to be pregnant. Its a natural form and certainly not a discusting one.

I think Ivor likes to post questions or statements to get outrageous reactions. First we had the spooky missing MIL. Then we had gay weddings. Now we have pregnant mums exposing themselves...

Personally i see nothing wrong with anyone dressing how they see fit. They might get a raised eyebrow from me, or a private OMG thought, but it's a free society and good for them! :)

Each to their own and all that, as long as they are happy
Personally I think it looks nice, like to see the bump:D:thumbs:

I sometimes wonder why some wear t-shirts which aren't big enough or designed to be worn when pregnant. Not necessarily because its unsightly but because their tummy's are exposed to the elements and when its really cold I wonder if this affects baby more than mom.

I love the look of a pregnant woman!!

Id like to develop a portfolio of Demi More style maternaty photographs...

I took some of my wife when she was expecting, i only wish i was good at photography at the time..

So, any expectant mums out there want some pics done??...

Why not go round in tight tops? Is there a problem with it? There is nothing more beautiful and feminine than the sight of a beautiful bump heavy with baby. Why should women want to cover it up? Have you tried shopping for maternity clothes lately? You buy what little there is, and I think if it was me (which it never will be), I'd go for tight tops over big smock style things.

Why do builders etc go round with their backsides hanging out of their pants?

I was just going to say that!!

I quite agree...and hairy backsides too :puke:

because they choose to, same as homosexuals choose to be homosexual.

Is everything that you dont understand inherently bad, unfashionable or wrong?

I think Ivortripod is on a wind up.........

To be honest most of the currently fashionable tops look like maternity smocks to me anyway! A friend of mine is 8 1/2 months pregnant and hasn't even had to go up a clothes size in normal (non-maternity) tops to perfectly well cover her bump!

Also I have to agree, I much prefer to see a pregancy bump in a tight t-shirt than lots of rolls of fat - IMHO it's a lovely shape.

( but I guess that either makes me a pervert or someone with an Oedipus complex )

I'm pretty sure it's gt sod all to do with fashion and everything to do with the fact that there is knack all cheap maternity clothing out there and why pay for clothes which you will only wear for a few months?

Nothing? Come on, I agree there is nothing wrong with preggers and tight t-shirts, but are you really saying a pregnant woman looks more feminie and beautiful than a non-pregnant woman? If that were true, why isn't the Glamour section of this forum full of preggers women?

I dont think he meant in a sexual way!
I agree with him that its a sight thats nice, pleasing etc.. Its precious.

LIES! LIES I TELL THEE! The sight of a bar of Galaxy is far more beautiful, I can assure you ;)

My Wife's Preggaz and i asked her...she said "cos your clothes start to not fit"

makes sense to me :-)

oh betty! you sound just like my wife!

I'm coming to the conclusion that Ivortripod is a student/lecturer writing a thesis/coursework on todays society using us as Lab Rats.

Waits for next thread.

"I've had an extension built by Eastern European builders and ............"

;)

I see that there's been no justification to the subject of the thread.

Are these threads borne of a need to see controversy ?

We've had a swipe at the gay population and now we're questioning a mother-to-be's right wear what she wants.

I often wear items of clothing that others might not appreciate, but as long as I'm comfortable I don't give a hoot what people think.

No, I'm simply saying that a pregnant woman looks feminine & beautiful - how much more feminine can you get?

..and I'm a 'she' btw ;)

That just means we provide a forum for topics NOT concerning photography.

Doesn't mean it's a free-for-all.

So was this drivel
a) a joke -
b) a rant
c) a rave.....?

Nope, I give up

Why do expectant mums go round in tight t-shirts ?

Why do girls with ample chests wear t-shirts saying 'keep your eyes on the road' which just make you look more ?

Quick frankly though, who gives a ****

Not sure that's entirely true. But we wont go there.

As for pregnant women in tight t's.......

Some look sexy, some look minging. Same as everything else.

I look minging in a tight t-shirt so i wouldn't wear one, or a thong for that matter.

Now, Don't get me started on ankle chains, burberry and too much gold.
