I have a Kata 3N1-30 & dont have a rain cover for it - not a problem... So went looking for raincover's and found these people "HBR ltd"..

I emailed them with a general question regarding their covers as they dont come in sizes with dimentions but size in litre's... ie small 45L, medium 65L or large 85L.. So I asked will the small version fit the dimensions of "48H x 20W x 33L"..

Simple question? Yes or no answer? :shrug: lets see....

Could you tell if the "Trekmates backpack cover - small" would fit a Kata 3N1-30 back pack -dimensions are 48H x 20W x 33L. Its just that there wasn't any sizes mentioned just literage ie S-45l,M-65l,L-85l..

Yes I know that but I am asking which SIZE would be adequate... As you do the 3 sizes like small - medium & large... So to make life easy for me in purchasing the correct size of Trekmates cover I am asking if the SMALL version will fit a backpack with the following size of 48H x 20W x 33L ... As I was to purchase the incorrect size then it would be like putting a duvet cover over a pillow....

So a simple question of will the SMALL Trekmates cover fit a back pack of 48x20x33..
As the Meerkat would say "Simples"...
 
I don't really see the problem tbh. You asked if the small will fit and they've said they believe it would :shrug:

As they don't sell your backpack you can't expect them to make a cast iron guarantee
 
I'm guessing that your measurements are in cm (you don't state that, so you figures are meaningless) which gives a capacity of 31680 cc which is just under 32 litres. I'm also guessing that the in Kata pack designation 3N1-30, that final 30 might possibly refer to its capacity in litres.

Your best bet is to take the bag to somewhere like Millets (or a similar outdoorsy shop) and see what thay stock in the way of raincovers.
 
They haven't really said that the small will fit - all they have said is that the "Trekmate's cover would be suitable"...

But which one the small, the medium or the large? As their sizes of the 3 covers doesn't state any actual sizes...

For example - the small 45L will fit/suitable for a BP up to a max size of 20x30x15.

Suppose that that would be the best way..... It seems that I know what I'm asking & prob is better to explain it in speech than in words face to face with someone than at a screen..
