I mean it is not hard. You move it off the roll, work out how much you need and then tear it off. Why do I always get the roll when someone has taken off 10 layers, not noticed the torn bit on the edge that keeps growing and then manages to split the rest of it in half, so it takes ten minutes and lots of film to get it useable again......the simpliest things sometimes....AAAAAAARGH!!!:bonk::bonk::bang::bang::bang:

I'm the same, I have very little patience as it is and i sure as hell don't need the aggro of getting into a ruck with a bloody box of clingfilm.

If people find it so hard to tear it off......USE SCISSORS!!!!!

I get it with tin foil too, but that is easier to sort, cos you can at least see it, and it don't stick so much...

I always tear off what I want and turn the long edges of the roll over a couple of times then you can always find the beginning, as long as the next person does the same, easy

Bloke in the "Full Monty" managed OK..........:naughty:

 I once heard that if you spread it across a speed camera, it can't catch you speeding :naughty:

Bought some a few years ago that came in its own dispenser, worked out nearly the same price as the cheap own brand stuff but its still going. You just lift the lid, pull out what you need and then close the lid which acts like a guillotine.

i hate clingfilm, it always clings to my arms and ends up in a tangled mess before i can wrap up whatever it was i was doing..

Everytime without fail!!! :bang:

I only use foil now.

Try watching someone behind the counter of a sandwich shop near us. She can tear a sheet off and have it dangling in mid air, a perfect square ready to place on whatever she's wrapping :p

I remember a girl at University going to a party in a home made dress made out of cling film.

Lets hope it was a cold night, could be very sweaty.... and I hope she went home alone, cos that wouldn't come off in a rush........although handy for wrapping your plums, sorry thats a different thread.

I have a huge roll of the stuff that came in a big box with its own slidey little cutter thing so no probs getting it off the roll. Once its cut however, it just clings to you and ends up folded up before I'm able to use it :annoyed:
