:) I know I'm a newbie here, not sure if it's a good thread to start, but my question is...

Who's up late then?

I'm stuck at work til about 3am - delayed train where I work, a bit tired, and very bored with nothing to do. Who's gonna start a conversation then? :D And what about?

.... .....

It's quite funny actually, my boss is stressing like mad because we can't find enough taxis for the passengers due to arrive at 3am...

Not be staying awake much longer tonight - this heat is killing me fast, but probably be around till 2/3am.

Delayed train where you work ? what do you do?

Probably shouldn't say, but *whispers quietly* - Eurostar at Ashford Terminal, the chap with the smiling face behind the ticket desk! :)

hehe me, i'm up late, as per usual.

Had a lovely sleep this afternoon though, just like i have been doing the past few days.

Big fan pointed at the bed, and i just lay down in shorts and t-shirt...the soundest sleep i've had in years.

Starting to feel hungry again, we had pizza take-away (paid for by work) about 11.30, now I want some more!!! :D

Still, at least it's air-conditioned here, lovely and cool.

Yeah, a bit of a night owl myself - tried and failed many times to break the routine of staying awake till the small hours.

Not made any better by these warm nights, either a case of staying awake in bed, or staying awake at my PC :bonk:

My back garden has needed the grass cut for about the past week, I either can't be bothered or it's too bl**dy hot outside!

I know what you mean, I can have a long list of things to do in a day but find they're easier to do the later it is, especially computer work - much easier 10, 11, 12 at night than during the day!

I'm glad I've found people in common! This would be normal for me doing school work and browsing the fourms at this time, then school the next day. Did come back to hurt me at one point tho :shake:

The thing I hate is when I work an 'early shift' and have to go to bed around 9:30 - 10 o'clock to get up at 3:45am! Argh! So horrible!

oh! bl**dy loud alarm I tell ya! :D

I prefer shift work, it gives you more free time to do what you want, but it's not supposed to be good on the body. Proven fact that people who do shiftwork live shorter lives on average!

Same here, staying awake = no problem, waking up however = :gag:

Goodnight Ally:wave:
