Apart from the incidental insects and other invertebrates they might eat accidentally. I've also seen ewes tidying up afterbirth.

Close but no cigar.
The correct answer is egg and chips.
Of course it has its place, but I was referring to snacks or light meals, if we are going full meals, it has to be a full Sunday lunch, roast beef ( or Lamb) and all the trimmings.
2nd choice Toad in t'ole
(I love duck eggs),
I had those once, many years ago.
The clue is in the "once" :D

To be exact then I think it’s called a pescatarian
That's someone that eats fish, or did you not mean to quote Garry?
I know someone that won't eat anything with a face.

Rules out sunflower products :D

Some years ago, we were at a party in Crete and were talking (in a mixture of broken languages [I blame a combination of ouzo and vino plonko blanco!!!]) to a Cretan fisherman about just that. He (jokingly) pulled the heads off a few fish and presented the plate to Mrs Nod (who did see the funny side) so she pulled a chip with a couple of black marks on it off his plate, pulled the eyed end off and gave the "head" to him.

I have never tried Duck eggs.
There I've said it!

Next time you're out for a drive and you see a sign for fresh duck eggs on the side of the road, stop and buy some. They're a little bigger than a large chicken's egg, but they have so much more flavour. I prefer mine fried or boiled, but they make a great omelette too. Yum!

Mum used to keep a few ducks and the cakes were delicious!

(Not enough bacon?)

And what's that vile looking sauce running down the steak.

Apart from that, it's a great salad for 4 people. ;)

Yes was just saying that to be exact as I do eat fish I guess I’m a pescatarian not a vegetarian :)

My wife is vegetarian, but she draws the line at going full vegan.
She does however cook a steak better than anyone I know, bar me of course.

All about meat and fatty foods here, which is why I chose the Keto diet when I decided to lose weight. What a diet! You can have all the goodies, eggs, bacon, cheese, butter, steak, ribs etc ... just cut the carbs by a lot. I lost 3 stone over 1.5 years. I did miss pasta, noodles, tonnes of spuds and all that but I'm now having those in small doses - not trying to cut anymore just stay healthy. Sticking to the 'good' fats also, cut out processed foods. I couldn't do Vegetarian, let alone vegan, meals would all just feel like they were sides, with something missing.

Why did the vegan cross the road? To tell somebody that they were vegan! ;)

This is so true, I work with 2 Vegans and every time any conversation remotely relating to food pops up they'll bore us to tears on their strict diet

An ex colleague turned vegan, when he started on about vegan meals I just got up walked away, always something that could done away from the desk, soon tired of talking to himself, grandson/son of a butcher too!

He did.
It was garry that said someone that ate fish wasn't vegetarian....

Do keep up
4.5 weeks later?
Garry never mentioned pescatarian he was initially quoting Marc do keep up.

Yes agree there’s nothing worse than people who go on and on boring others to tears about their beliefs
As I mentioned we don’t eat meat but only mention it to anyone if we need to

This thread is confusing me. I always thought that pescatarianism was the art of being really pesky... :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

Nope, never considered it at never will.
Some years ago I was in a short relationship with a vegeterian and when she cooked me a vegeterian bolognese it was vile.
I am mindful that the meat I buy is from animals treated fairly.

i eat veggie or vegan at least twice a week just as a personal choice
haven't eaten red meat much for the past decade as i just find it hard going
white meat and fish, pretty much.
i'm not either way i just think there are some great choices out there.

Anything is edible if it's chopped finely enough (ask McDonald's).

My advice would be; never eat anything larger than your head. :wacky:
