i must say i love that. looks fantastic, and it looks good being a McLaren fan
time will tell but the rear wing should suite it once its "chopped" down
not so keen on the BMW though

the front wing looks shocking

they all look fairly horrible personally, im sure we;ll get used to them by next year but the cars dont look at all balanced wing wise, the front looks far too big and the rear looks far too small in comparison, maybe the definitive cars might look better

Yeah early doors so far, and properly still way off what will be as none have been full spec09 regs have they? Id image most will look totally different come start of season.

They look stupid because the front wing, overal width of the car and rear wing are all out of proportion. If the cars went back to being 2 metres wide, and the rear wing width was increased by 20-30cm, they would look amazing. I'm worried about the direction the FIA seems to want to take F1 at the moment. There is talk in Autosport this week of "standardised major aero parts" i.e., FIA designed and built front wings, rear wings and diffusers. Along with the threat of standard engines and gearboxes, it seems the very ideas that make F1 what it is are under threat.

Yep very worring the death of F1 they might as call it Super F3 provided they supply more power.

 love it
looks like something in lego land :D
the cars that actualy race will look a bit diferent though still going to be a bit funny watching them, can we not just bring back mansall (sp) :D:D:D

that BMW wont get round many corners with that wing still intact, its a minger.

The FIA have lost site of what F1 is, and are hell bent on reducing costs. Simple way to reduce costs: Set a budget. Teams cant spend more than £50m(example cost!) including drivers for the year. that will sort it out while leaving the teams free to do what they want

thats not a bad idea that, then they would have to decide what advances they want to funnel there money into and would give a diferent looking race. good call

precisely, the teams would have to think about strategy with cash as well as on track.
