I notice that Trevor Oakes is not on the current tour as he is unwell. Until recently I worked with Trevor's son Simon in Leicester.
Anthony.
99% of todays bands only last max of 2 years so good on Showaddy etc for sticking at it!Yes yes but I had a wedding to do yesterday so I didn't have time to look at the pictures until this afternoon. Anyway I stuck a couple in the People and Portrait forum for you.
I couldn't stay for the whole show but what I did see was pretty good. Only the corn exchange but it was still sold out. And for those who are say things about how th emighty have fallen - well how many of todays bands will still be playing and earning a living from it in thirty years? I don't call it falling I call it surviving!
Oh and just in case anyones interested to see the whole set I put a preview album online for the band - feel free to look but no stealing ok

I think his son was a footballer wasn't he ? Scott Oakes - Simon's brother I assume.
Well i have been watching this thread with interest, I am off to a 70's weekend at Bognor Butlins early next month. The Bay City Rollers, Mud II (Mud without Les Gray), The Real Thing, Alvin Stardust, Racey, The Glitter Band (without YKW), The Brotherhood of Man and a load of tribute bands. I am really looking forward to it, I think it will be a scream!
