Who is your favourite Talk Photography member?

Indeed, though I think it was kirk, wasn`t it? And the pee taking he got from the mods and admin.................

Anyways I know who you mean.

yes was kirk :) amazing dummy spit

The person who posts below me.

That's right, you better say I'm your favourite ;)

Arkady, because he is everywhere that I click. Straight talking no nonsense.

As Ron (Arkady) has gotten most votes I would have to thank John (Kaouthia) for helping me out getting hold of a Nikon 70-200mm VR & to Andy (puddleduck) for his advice/help on many things...

And to all those who have thaken the time to give their advice & crit on my posts/threads, and most of all for world peace :p (oops too much miss world :$)

A bit cheesy but everyone for me as it is down to everyones input that these boards are what they are.

If I had to single out one person I would choose cowsaki again for the wheels thread, to date that is the best thing that has come out of any forum I have been on.

I think the point is that as a forum we are all everybody's favorite.
Sure there are a few bad eggs but that's only to be expected.
If it wasn't for the people on this forum, male or female, most of us would still be taking below average shots of whatever our subject matter may be.
so as a fellow TP togger, still a student of this excellent past time. I salute you all. :thankyou:

i like mrgas , he consistently posts great photos and is full of useful advice

SarahLee cos she's been so helpful with my pic 52 and helped me learn so much - and cos her pics inspire me to get better and better.

Loads of helpful people on here
Special mention to Marcel who sold me his sigma 70-300APO a couple of years back and got me hooked:lol:

Cobra for those lovely sunny whipsnade meets:eek:;) and Cosmix3 for helping me choose the 100-400 along the way:nono:;):p

Not with a broken Corsa, surely...?

Broken  it's got a 6" strip of gaffa tape on the bumper.

My vote would go to PAUSHAZ ( Paul and Sharon) 2 genuinely nice people

I meant the 'producer' he got for the bald tyres and dodgy lights - not much pulling potential there...

Mind you what do I know about mini-skirted teenage-filth these days?

I didn't know he'd had a producer, he didn't mention it on Saturday

Well for me it would have to be Hepburn, he is one hell of a guy with so much knowledge of photography and has taught me such a lot in a short space of time (thanks Heppers :)). He has taken so much flack from me over the past few months and been very patient. Not only is he a tog friend, but a true friend who I can chat to about anything and everything, a true gem ;) I feel like I have known him a lifetime, and maybe one day will have the pleasure of meeting the 'git' in person ( he will know what I mean by that) :D.

There are many others too who I would like to mention because they are special to me in their own ways:

Cobra: because he just make me laff (an ace character)! Not to mention his 'odd' photography advice :p

Pork: for his help at the TP Kirkby Lonsdale meet and Ingleton Waterfalls meet, also a great chap.

CGeezer: for his uncanny ability to organise the wettest TP meets in the North West (which have always turned out to be great fun). A fab friend too!

David700: Who I came into contact with in my early days on TP and has provided much support and encouragement in my photography learning experience.

fracster: Ade you are an ace chap, straight talking and to the point. Thanks also for cleaning my camera sensor (even though it was a b*tch to sort out).

Dark Star: for c&c on pics and the support through a very trying time (thanks)!

Talking of which, thanks also to sawman, ladysue, BIGEYE, Yardbent, mercmanuk, Keith W, cambsno, ChrisH and mrgas (yes you get a mention from me too ;)) for all your kind words and support.

Last but not least, a special thanks to KIPAX who pointed me in the direction of this forum. Cheers :)

I would also like to say thanks to the Mods and Admin who keep this forum a civilised place.

Granted this is a virtual world, where we may never meet in person and as such can never really understand the 'written word' which can often be mis-read or misunderstood (as is quite apparent from recent events), but hopefully we can all learn from each other and progress.

I have enjoyed my time here at TP (good with the bad) and hopefully will have the pleasure of meeting folk at future TP meets.

Thanks for starting this thread, it is good to recognise the people who mean something to all of us.

Cheers

Dawn :)

Difficult for me, but here goes.

Desantnik, I like his honesty and wit most of the time, even though I got a ban because of him.......:D

Rob, for taking disagreements like a man and not sulking.

Hoppy................Simply his knowledge and patience.

Cedric......for being Cedric, a truly fine man, I don`t give respect freely ,especially to people I have never met, but CT gets mine.

Ian........top bloke, helpful and a good tog, welcome anytime fella.

Good God, I could go on for ages.........:)

Most of all, Charlie, great man, love his attitude, his work, his commitments and his devotion.

There are loads I have missed, and I apologise.

Secretly I kinda like Dekhog and Trenchy as well, yeah we rub each other up the wrong way, but it is an internet forum, not real life and I`m sure both are good guys in the flesh................:)

Edit............ and Dawn, for being such a bubbly person and, more importantly, telling me where I can get biltong..........;)

And right now I love you too Ade

Damn, forgot to mention you Alison,Alison for her brain..........

Hope it goes well and may have another for you..........:)

Woo hoo :) I can't wait for the one you sent me, great couple and city centre. Should be fun! :)

I didn't know he'd had a producer, he didn't mention it on Saturday

He told me he had a job offer as a producer.... cheeky little b****r

Hate to point all my enthusiam to one person and I know there are MANY more people who have helped and assisted me in my questions, etc.

If I had to pick one I'd say Simon Revil. His enthusiam for his work is phneominal and always helpful when you ask a question. He has helped me numerous times with questions I've had without having a windge at all my questions :)

But other people I see helpful information are AliB, Hoppy, plus many more (so please dont be offended if i havn't mentioned you)

So, so easy. 100% EdinburghGary, without a shadow of a doubt. Why....?

Top class role model for - 'go for it'
Success written all over him
Never a bad word about anyone.
Incredible enthusiasm for everything 'photography'
Smiles & keeps smiling - in the face of adversity
Absolutely first class, top rate photographer
Gentleman

Enough....?

Oh, and did I mention he's one of the togs on here who has actually contacted me asking for one of my pics...!!!!!! (which of course, I was more than happy to provide) ;)

If I had to choose one it would be drodd for the witty banter that makes me

there are others though: Arkady, no nonsense,
Smoothedit, fantastic competitions (the tits thread comes to mind),
Richard King, helped me fix my speaker problem,
neil g, has an interest in anything computer related

I meant the 'producer' he got for the bald tyres and dodgy lights - not much pulling potential there...

:lol::lol:I wonder if the bald tyres played any part in his crashing his car. Funny he never mentioned them in his pistonheads thread:lol::lol::lol:

Thats a tough one there are so many on here that offer help and advice but when I first came on here steveinspain was very good to me and help make me welcome so my vote is steveinspain whereever he is
Bob
