Christopher Lee. I also quite like the dude that played Le Chiffre in Casino Royale.

Lee was very good. Quite liked nick nack too and that was one if my fave bond films. Savalas was good in ohmss, as was Drax in moonraker.

Best baddie had to be Donald grant on Russia with love (played by Robert shaw) and of course jaws.

Sean Bean in Goldeneye or whoever was Sanchez in License to Kill

Quite liked Chris Lee and Chris Walken though

Brosnan all the way.

I quite like Daniel Craig, even though Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace were unbelievably boring.

Loved skyfall though :)

Saw skyfall last week, absolutely fantastic. Javier Bardem was an excellent villain and the Skyfall lodge scenes were brilliant

That Aston... Phwoar...

Just watched OHMSS again. Working through the BD box set. It's still my favourite Bond film.

It is a great film. One of my Faves! I've always wanted to go to the restaurant on the mountain, which was filmed as the exterior of Blofelds base, I think it's in Switzerland?

Truth is I dunno because I couldn't be bothered to check the exchange rate between Swiss Francs and Euros

I have been trying to work out where to go on my next photo trip, and this has moved to the top of the list.

I don't think there is any universal BEST james bond. Its just a matter of opinion. Mine is Roger Moore, but that doesn't make him the overall best

Likewise! We should have a TP meet at the top :)

My favourites tie between Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig, with Roger Moore as a close second.

I like Timothy and Daniel because they are both good actors and are able to show empathy for the other characters when required. I found that the others weren't very capable of this and the "macho" act got old very quickly.

Roger Moore is my close second because he was amusing to watch.

I am often the minority in thinking that Sean Connery was not the be-all and end-all of Bonds. I'm not even sure I like him very much.

Ps. Skyfall is awesome, one of the best. Definitely reccommend to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

In my James Bond blu-ray season I have not watched up to The Spy Who Loved Me. Having sat through the Connery/Lazenby era I can honestly say that these Moore films are just awful! His acting is terrible, his flouncing around with a cigar is annoying, his inability to bring that raw toughness and edginess that Connery/Lazenby did is very noticeable. I've still got loads to sit through too! I just hope time has been kind to the Dalton movies.

I've now watched all up to including the first Dalton movie. My opinion of the Moore era hasn't changed. They were truly awful!
