Who Inspires you on TP?

This is definitely not an exhaustive or complete list as there are many many more, but the people who come to mind right now include

Ct - amazing photos and an encouraging all round nice guy
EdinnurghGary - amazing skills and happy to share his knowledge both business wise and photo wise
Tdodd - takes time to write full and clear responses to my noddy questions
AliB - good skills and a good business mind
Michael Sewell for putting those follow me lighting threads together - learned loads

+ ALL the other pros and skilled amateurs who take time to advice newbies like me
 
Ct.....for his ability to help people improve. Never belittling nor being scornful of others less talented, a true gent.

Arkady....not for him being a soldier,not for his photography nor his recent exploits. But for being straight talking and being able take disagreements like a man.

Sawman.....I`m not explaining that one.

Flashy.....We did not get on at the start, but his sarcasm used to be legendary, kinda died down since he became an advertiser. Graham is a top banana.


Ian C and quite a few others who raise the bar and give me new goals to attain.

Oh, and Brash for being such an arze.....:D
 
Arkady and AWP for me, but almost everyone here is great. It might just be that everyone is like minded :)
 
tdodd, Hoppy and CT for me. I like Arkady's posts too as I'm a fan of the zero-bull**** approach, however me being an RAF chap and him being a scruffy army-type makes me not entirly trust him! ;)

Arkady, because he is painfully honest. I'm very much like that myself, So I guess its because I respect that honesty.

Thanks for all the mentions - not justified though! I find the whole forum inspirational to be honest, but some names always stick out.

* JACO for the absolutely insane help he is giving me in the Studio, morally and otherwise.
* SteJones for his Landscape work.
* Ghandi for his willingness to teach, and pass on his knowledge.
* Woodsy for having Ginger Face Pubes & being a top bloke :)
* AliB for all her supportive phonecalls, advice & for being a top lass :D
* Tomas Whitehouse, God of Light.
* Marcel for being a big soft poof - he's extremely considerate of people around him.
* PhotoChimp for being a complete ******* with his amazing Studio Skills.
* FamilyMan for his insanely cool studio work....

CanonBob, because what he doesn't know about Canon isn't worth knowing, and his gear list looks like my wet dream.
 
Gary Coyle - Not into sports myself but the pictures he takes are stunning
Edinburgh Gary - Great studio work and also landscapes love the way he also freely shares his knowledge.
Arkady - Is there anything this guy does not know about nikon gear ? and takes a camera to places i wouldn't even dream of going.
 
No one person inspires me to be fair.....there are some pretty good togs on here but it all passes through so quickly I don't get time to really make note of who's doing what and let it soak in.... :)

Woodsy's POTY win was pretty cool.... he seems to have a good outlook on things. Some of Cherryrig's strobist skate stuff is cool too. Other than that can't really remember individual photography....
 
In my own field

CT and IanC allways inspirational and bluntly truthful, more than willing to help a complete noob like me.

Fracster for his unswerving honesty. Arkady too (though out of my field)

Kaz, and DreamerUK for their consistantly good solid work, and the amount of support they're willing to give.

Out of my field, Edinburgh Garry for the incredible advances he's made seemingly effortlessly, but in fact with sheer hard graft.

And of course Alby not only for his macro work but for the quality of his newer interests as well.

Edit: How could I have forgotten Purpleclouds for showing me where to photograph my first kingfisher, and barn owl :)

Ta for the mention much appreciated but dont think thats going to get you slacking of work. Im coming in tomorrow after grandkids get picked up and you better be bright eyed and bushy tailed tomorrow lots to do me lad.:P
