There are many on here and I could do a top 20 or 50 probably, but my top 4 in no order as they are all for different reasons are
EdinburghGary
Ajphototog
Fracster
Zarozinia

Most memorable shot
Ajphototogs snowflake on a spiders web. Can anyone do a linky?

Oo tricky!

Ok to name but a few:

Blinkerz - ultimate style to each shot - my fave tog here for strong image alone.

Arkady - for using italics awesomely for having such amazing drive, dedication and love for all things photographic and for putting his lens where other men fear to tred. Rob oozes love for capturing an image.

Spooky- for introducing me to media and photography academically - and for being inspirational in making those steps right now to being professional and hopefully full time.

wheels - for simply being an inspiration
grum - for his dedication to using old FD lenses with the G1
EdinburghGary - for knowing more about photography than I could ever hope to learn in a lifetime
PCP - for THIS shot

Everyone who can teach me more about photography.

Realspeed

Oh Perhaps i should give my reasons

EdinburghGary Followed his 365 a couple of years ago, emotional and fab wide variety ofshots and now coming back on and seeing the progression in life and shots

Aphototog Blinded by his macro skills and again 2 years later seeing other genres equally fab.

Fracster always admired the wildlife shots but the conservation story is better than any tv soap by a mile

Zarozinia I have only recently come across and have gawped at every image so far in admiration.

Thanks guys...can you feel the love:love::lol:

Aphototog - for his amazing attention to detail
EdinburghGary - for his drive and energy
Tomas Whitehouse - I love his creativity and imagination, his shots are good too ;)
CT - for his ability to explain things in a way a numpty like me understands and his wildlife shots are something I aspire to :)

Hoppy UK and Tim Dodd because of how knowledgeable they are.

Arkady for the above, and for the humour, and for the fact that he doesn't bullcrap and dress things up. Telling it how it is, is how I like it told...

Loads of others that I forgot.

Well - there are loads of people on here that inspire me, but there is one person who's images have just been completely Jaw Dropping and thats Gandhi...

(Though it would be fair to say that the main feeling his shots inspired in me was to sell up and take up another hobby as I'll never get anything that good!)

EdinburghGary & Tomas Whitehouse leap to mind.

Talent, ability, creativity and willingness to help others.

It would be fascinating to hear who they admire...

Every time a name is mentioned i'm thinking oh yess them toooo!
Love you all...and no I haven't had a love pill, I've just got back into my hobby with more fervour (is that how you spell it?) and it's great to see old names and new having a fab time on here sharing knowlage feelings and kit etc. It's the only forum that i would consider going on a meet that's for sure

Another vote for EdinburghGary here - his landscape shots have always made me wish I was better at that sort of stuff! He's also a really good bloke - always willing to offer advice and help to those [much!] less able than himself!

There are probably 2 others whose photos I would really love to be able to take, and that's ajophotog and spxxx - both have utterly incredible photographic abilities!

Don't really know anyone well enough to pass comment.

I thank people that take the time to answer my stupid questions, or C&C my pics

Ahhh I'm really chuffed some of you like my photography, thank you
people I really like are CT, Dod and Tomas spring to mind but so many others are worthy of a mention.

Jo here is the link you wanted: Snowflakes

Nick T - just amazing !!!

EdinburghGary is a star as he always provides great feedback and freely shares his knowledge.

Really too many others to mention

There are many brilliant photographers who post on this forum. The person who inspires me most is spxxxx. The quality of his work is in my humble opinion outstanding.

EdinburghGary, Jason Cole and Fracster for there amazing photos and inspiration.

my new best friend :D stuart (cosmix3) he,s helped me out on here more times than i can name, and we met recently at cotswold wildlife park where he helped even more, top man. no ones mentioned me

wheels - for simply being an inspiration
grum - for his dedication to using old FD lenses with the G1
EdinburghGary - for knowing more about photography than I could ever hope to learn in a lifetime
PCP - for THIS shot
thanks but i am far from being an inspiration. everyone of you are my inspiration. If you could see me know you would know i am far from it. But thank you mate. for me its rob and Darren and each and every person that are helping me in what ever way you are.

Hoppy UK always seem to give some good advice.
23rd man (Dean) for his enthusiam and persverance (sorry I know the spelling is wrong!) And the above!

Loads more..........Paul Iddon (?) for his bugs e.g.

He's going to hate me for saying his name but tdodd for his knowledge, he explains things in a way that makes sense and easy to understand, birds in flight are always stunning and is always good for a laugh when you meet him.
CT & Kaz - they are amazing bird photographers and their dedication is in capturing various birds is incredible.
Fracster - his dedication to wildlife photography is very admirable.
Starrider - when it comes to candid shots, Dave just has a natural talent for beautiful photos.

Everyone I've met via TP meets because I always see a different perspective when it comes to choosing a shot and it inspires me to be more open minded about photography.

EdinburghGary has taken some of the shots where I've really thought, "wow, I need to know how to do that". And, sure enough, he's told me how to do it when I've asked him. A real credit to t'internet!

There are loads on here though. I think most of the people who are veterans of this site inspire me with their passion and enthusiasm not only for photography but also for helping out newcomers. There aren't many other hobbies where people are so keen to assist others getting off the ground.

Everyone who has helped me since I joined in april, all the people who post in the talk basics threads which I read everyday and those who give instructive feedback in the photo sharing forums.

When I first joined alistairb posted up a set of sunsets saying he had no/little landscape experience which staggered and inspired me as these were exactly the kind of shots that I hope one day to be able to take.

Realise now its going to take some time ....

Some of the Wedding togs I like are Simon Revell, Hacker and Guy (Radiohead) and some one who doesn't post here very much Alexandros Babi.

Hmmm - not been here long enough to realy comment, but so far...

SpiritFlier - not just because we share the same name but because he has an ability to capture cracking landscapes and is always constructive in his critiques

Wheels - 2nd nomination I think - because he acknowledges the release photography gives him - it is not about art, or money, but purely expression

Ali B - she is a portrait queen and her recent Boudoir Shoot at Home is awesome

Jason Cole - his images and video tutorials are the superlative of inspiring

I will also mention SmoothEdit because he is undoubtedly the best student I have ever had the privaledge to teach; his capacity to learn does not stop in the classroom either and I have been pleased that he has continued to want to work with me on various projects over the years since leaving school, and that no matter how bizarre a request I make he is always willing to help out.

Spooks

Gary Coyle - never reach the heights of paid sports tog (nor want to) but I can dream to take the shots he does.
Edinburgh Gary (again) for the drive and inspiration to so many. To come so far in such a short time never ceases to amaze

There are some cracking people on this site, there really are, who have given me so much good advice. But the one person who inspires me (to use Arkaday's italics) is Guy (Radiohead). I have no interest in doing wedding photography but from a reportage/documentary point of view his images really are stunning, his way with natural light inspires me greatly and his ability to catch fleeting moments. Top stuff :)

Can't argue with any of that.

To be quite honest there are just so many on here.

This forum was a little outside of my comfort zone when I first started posting but all that have been named so far (except one ;) ) are the reason why love this forum.

For me it would have to be MD for all the help and honest comments he's givin me in the past few years, his portrait work is great aswell, Pikeman and CT for there bird shots and last but by no means least Sawman for his dedication

Dont forget the Admins!

that is the right answer. Thread closed. :D

for me I think CT for being just the most helpful guy ever,
Arkady (not everyones cup of tea)
Tuna for the best B&W, he only does drive-by picture posting but his stuff was great, PeteMc for actually doing what he wants, he might not be technically perfect but hes doing very well for himself. There are so many more, but if you post photos, listen to what people tell you to improve, then go out and do it, then thats the stuff for me. All the Pros who give their time, energy and enthusiasm to the members also deserve a special nod

Agree with all the above (bar the except 1 (so far;) ) and still have to feel a bit brave before i post a pic now even though i know all feedback is beneficial.

I admire the work of a few people. I wouldn't want to embarrass anyone or miss anyone out either, but the people who really inspire me are the newbies who come on TP thirsting for knowledge, particularly the ones I see improving in leaps and bounds - I get such a kick out of that, and their enthusiasm reminds me why I got into photography in the first place.

Enthusiasm is infectious - regardless of how long you've been at it.

Oh gosh, there are so many people, I couldn't begin to list them, so many people have inspired me and even helped me and because of the wonderful people on TP, I've been able to progress, to take better photos, to use my photography as a freedom, a distraction and an expantion of the person inside my body.

OK, a few names, but by no way is this list extensive and in no particular order!

naboo32, matty, YV, gumbo-67, cowaskai, Arkady, Veromator, Smoothedit, cobra, dangermouse69, LadySue, AWP, EdinburghGary, 68lb, Michael Bosanko, akaozzy, HoppyUK, Flash In The Pan, Betty, Dangermouse1964...........the list goes on and on.....there are so many fantastic and truly inspirational people on TP!

EG, TW Arkady, Blinkerz (not all my bag but some are amazing), Woodsy and ghandi - well anyone shooting LF film deserves a mention (and I Really want one now

Couldn't agree more.

I'll also throw my hat in for Gary the Sweaty for being such a great togger and top chap, Hoppy for always having excellent and very patient advice, Tom Whitehouse for inspiring me to take better location portraits and everyone else for simply being part of such a wonderfully supportive and friendly community. Without you guys 'n' girls I'd be useless. :D

if I had posted any photos in the last couple of years I'd be flattered...

Wow can't believe I got a mention - thanks Amnesia :)

Another vote for Michael Bosanko - never really tried much light painting but I find his shots pretty amazing and would like to try at some point.

There's lots of really good photographers on here, and I've learned a lot in the short time I've been on here - can't really remember that many names though. I find that the standards of wildlife photography are particularly high - Fracster springs to mind (though he's a bit of a drama queen ;) ).
