Who has videos on youtube? Post your links etc!

Most of the classical music is in public domain, so you can get away without copyright issues.

The score is out of copyright, the recording, if less than 70 years old, is not!

Don't make this mistake - you still owe royalties to whoever recorded the piece.

That's true, but it won't be expensive to find some who can play the score for you. For us all the videos are able to out of copyright claim and monetize as audio and video is sourced by us.

Another way is to sign up for Youtube partnership, most of the companies give you access to music tracks free of cost.

Sounds like you really don't understand copyright

You'll always get negative comments, no matter what you put on YouTube. Ignore it.

Maybe he genuinely could not see the point in the video though (shrug).

There are a couple of videos on YouTube that feature me but they've got nothing to do with photography... ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-imNh5VZak

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PjqTsBtlOQ

In both cases I composed, arranged and played all the instrument parts and in the second one I did everything. The lady who sings and dances on the first one made both videos.

Not to everyone's taste, I agree, but not bad for an amateur guitarist.

Thanks for educating me on copyright. I just tried to share my own experience, which I gathered from owning 3 youtube partner channels, where I use copyrighted and non-copyright tracks and make some decent income out of it.

I'm also lucky to be a parent of a classical musician, so anytime I need music for a video, she will play that music for me

So, in court, your defence is

"Google / You-tube says it is OK"

Thats as credible as saying "My web-host says its OK"

I've only done four videos. None of them are really very good. This is my favourite:

The first clip was done using my 600D. The rest was on a GoPro. Edited in Windows Movie Maker because I was having no luck aquiring anything else...

Music is 'Just a Day' by Feeder and people are welcome to dislike it or my video and I won't get mad. Promise xxx ;)

This is my channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/TomCashTV/videos

A video i did for a friend of mine (Owner of SCC Performance) a while back, showcasing my RS (As a demo for the 400S package he retails).

Used a GoPro Hero HD2 and my old Sony A200 DSLR, really need to make a new one with all my new kit!

Welcome to TP, good effort, nice to see a positive image of Islam, shame this isn't reflected more in the media to offset the very small minority who have no respect for God and his creation. (I'm a Christian incidentally)

Had a disastrous trip to Scotland two weeks ago, crunched the boot on the car, lost part of my modular lens hood, then capped it all by falling down a mountainside after taking a photo, spraining my ankle and visiting the A&E at Fort William, who says we don't suffer for our hobby! Still this is a video of the drive through Glen Coe.

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to photography and videography but recently studied media at A Level, I really enjoyed it and i'm keen to pursue some sort of career in event media.

Here are a couple of links to some of the videos that I've done myself... Any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is welcome!!

Good to see video take off a bit... I guess with increased bandwidths and availability of technology it was only a matter of time!

We just finished up with this:

Mostly shot on a Sony FS700 with a Tamron lens... I forget which one.
