I have had bikes on and off over the last thirty years, my last bike was the ZZR1100 had three of them, the best bike I ever owned. Since early retirement I am now looking at getting a small bike to potter about on. I want an old 1980s CD125 / or CG 125, but prices are rather high at the moment.

Some awesome machines here .... some not so awesome chicken strips .... whoooahaaaha! ;)

Some very nice bikes on here! I'm currently restoring a DT175MX I got for free! Hopefully doing my test this summer :)

About a year ago:

Now (yes I know the engine is missing, had to completely re engineer the head studs)

Cheers.

Nice project fella, my first ride was a greaves (Sp?) just like that style, might have been the same engine size, dunno i was too young to know. ... Your third shots not showing btw? :D how long do we have to wait. ;)

Does my Lambretta count??

Hope so, especially a fab battered beast like that, wow. Nice shot also.

Thanks mate, pretty pleased with it TBH! And about a week if all goes to plan, at which point it'll be straight back down the farm I got it from so that a) I can get a bit of practice with gears and b) to make room in the garage for my Z650 project that'll be arriving soon (hopefully) :D

I have a few, all of them collectable by luck and the fact ive gotten old too.

Two Laverdas, this one is a Formula 750SF, the other is a 750S

Had a poster of that in my bedroom as a yoof in the 80s! :)

Smashing shot, ...ZXR1100 Im guessing. You just cant beat that classic Z style, its as iconic as the E type Jag is to cars I think.

Thanks Gaz, Far less orange than I thought. ;)

The 750s ..yeah I wish it was the one you had one your wall, kerchig!! nah it a modern sport one '97. I should have said 750s (zane) meaning it was build in the late 90s at the Zane Factory in Italy....really I just didn't think may would know, being lazy like.

Id swap in an instant though. ;)

Hi Chris. Lovin your Virago, cool paint work, do you clock up many miles? ive always wondered if I could tour easy rider style on one of those ... well, if it ever stops raining.

i don't have any bikes (as much as i'd like too), but a couple of my friends have some 125cc bikes. I've taken some pictures for them:

Close enough, it's the 12. Hard to tell the difference from that shot! :D

My former motorbike, a Yamaha YBR125 custom.

Mototorbike%2BHDR3.jpg

Due to this rubbish summer and my increasing role as a home carer for an elderly mother, it got used so little that the unleaded fuel in it's tank actually went "off"!
The other thing that didn't help it was me losing my confidence on the roads (far too many reckless boy racers type cars about), so I decided to cut my loss and sold it while the bike was in good nick, got a VERY good price for it.
