Rock on! :clap::clap::clap::clap:

Cheers,
James

Working from home today so no different to usual unfortunately, but I will probably go up to the stables to help Jan with the horses. It's all single track country lanes so the Landcruiser will earn it's keep today!

I would like to be out taking photos of the weather, but I have to come into my day job on the 6-2 shift. Been here since about 5.55am and watching the snow from the window - and reading the pages of TP of course....

No problem for me. Certainly didn't do a handrake turn in the car park, and all the rest of the (country) roads were clear. Had a slight worry that I wasn't going to be able to back into the drive way at work, but managed it!

Well I dont have to go to school today, but I am hedding into the town to check the price for a gig I am going to in March

I would have to but can't, roads are to trecherous, buses all cancelled and my drives on a slop and if I move it will probably roll into the house!

I want to build a snowman!! :D

Not even trying to get to work today. A 20 mile commute that has half of it shut.

Been out for a walk with the camera (it's now drying out) and can't believe the idiots on the road not even clearing the roofs of their vehicles :nono:

Hubby has connected in to work so he is supporting our Midlands office, but head office where we work has the local people who can walk in (about 3 of them!)

I am in Devon and its a sunny day so business as usual:'(

We have been told the snow will hit us at approx 3pm.:D

I have not seen snow for about 3 years.:bang:

we want snow:p we want snow :pwe want snow:p

Iam at work all the nurses made it in, but none of the support staff did whats that about??

and no its not because the nurses are more local!

All planned work has been cancelled, and only extreme emergancy work will be undertaken, so sitting at home bored now phone on incase.

working from home, snowing at the moment, but its not loads, i have 40mile journey though, and in this weather, nah

Im at home :(. I waited an hour for my bus (private bus company) and it didnt turn up i got a phonecall from a friend and he said the bus isnt running. So day off from college for me.

I'm out in Peacehaven and the roads are covered and still coming down heavy.
My stupid rabbits are sitting out in their run though :cuckoo:

:woot:

phoned in at 9am and my boss answered. I started launching into how the buses are suspended and the train station is miles from where I live, but he just interrupted me to say - "don't worry - I only came in to tell everyone to go home."

'kin yeah, baby!

I plan on going down to the local park this afternoon photograph the nutters skiing/ sliding down a very long and steep hill :D

I might just take Mollie for a walk with the camera , see if I can get some piccies of the snow. Dont have to be in work till 3pm ....will try and get out between blizzards.

I've not gone in as I'm worried about driving in the snow with my leg but I'm working from home. Husband is playing on the Wii

I woke up thinking it would be too lame to blame the snow, but then i looked out the window

Not a chance of getting into work, the boss called everyone and said don't even try.
I'm going to grab the camera and take the dogs for a walk in the park.
Hopefully I'll get some cracking action shots of them.
Btw - I went for a smoke in the garden (no smoking house) wearing a dressing gown and timberland boots.
My good lady was on the phone to my eldest stepdaughter who is also snowed in and they were laughing at my antics :D

You say that all the schools here are shut but yet i remember going to school with alot more snow then we have now, and having a major snowball fight one year.

Bored now, what a load of there is on tv.

Snow was quite heavy this morning as I left but still made it in without any drama. Although saying that it's days like this that I HATE having a rear wheel drive car!

im at work and it's snowing noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

oh well

will be nice to see al the photos u lot take today will be intresting to see

unfortunatley i live half a mile from work so no excuse for me not to come in:'(

I`m off too, had to laugh at our cat today. He jumped out of the back door trying to avoid a snow drift, missed and landed in the middle of a foot deep one. Should`ve seen his face!

Definitely uninpressed...

Rubbish - it's the best time to be RWD :)

I struggled into work as usual. Came downstairs and there was my office exactly where I left it.

I'm supposed to be going to London tomorrow. I may, for once, keep an eye on the forecast.

Im not going in...too dangerous on the roads and southeastern trains cancelled as well as no buses....shame eh

We've not had snow like this for years. Just come indoors from a massive street snowball fight with all the neighbours and kids. Anyone who dared walk up our street got HIT

I've got to try and get to Maidstone for 4pm today - not looking forward to that. 40+ miles through what is reported to be the worst hit areas of the country

Imagine! how can you open the sunroof and watch the birdies if you roof isnt clean!

at work here to

Took 1 1/2 hours to drive 15 miles this morning

everyone driving to slow and the amount of traffic was crazy

My work is only down two flights of stairs, unfortunately neither of them had snow on so I am at work :( tempted to b****r off out with the camera though. Need MORE snow though to make it nice up here.

Oh don't get me wrong I love actually driving in the snow (yes it's a 330D, imagine all that torque on slippery roads) it's just that our road is a very slight incline and unless you come off the drive at 20mph you simply don't have the traction to get around the corner and all the way to the top.

It's even better when my damn neighbour has parked on the pavement so I have that to get around as well!

I've taken to driving down the hill and going out of the village the back route.

Apparently my wife had a laugh with our 5 month old son this morning. After she'd fed him she went outside and got him a bowl full of snow to play with.

SOOOO wish I'd of seen that!

Whoo hoo, just got a message saying today's job is cancelled. Seemingly out of 300 jobs we are doing throughout the country, only 2 are going ahead.

Great. I´ll fly to the UK, London, on saturday and was hoping for blue sky and friendly temperatures to take photos....hopefully the snow we´ll be melted away since then.

I work from home so no different for me.

Walked my daughter to school this morning...sheesh that was a bit nippy! On uk.weather.com it says it's -2 here but with a wind chill factor of -8.

I didnt have to go to work today either! All trains and buses were suspended anyway :S does anyone know how much longer its going to go on like this? it hasnt stopped snowing for hours here! i wish i had a toboggan....
