Well I'm going through my usual inspiration bookmark list, and quickly realising most of the photographers I admire in the wedding industry are those that live in a much sunnier climate.

So I figured I'd ask you guys, who are your current favourite wedding photographers in the UK?

It seems a little silly trying to compare what I'd be able to do here with those who have a lovely California sun to work with!

Dave Nunn, John Baikie, David Islip, Duncan Kerridge, Julie Oswin, Simon Young......

Not sure how you define someone as being the cream of the crop but I like Phil Nunez up here in the North East - rather like those mentioned above, he has his own style and pulls off polished, natural photographs with ease

Don't forget Uncle Bob.

:coat:

I could tell you a story about Phil - I've known him for 20 years and he doesn't want to know me since I started doing portraits a year ago!

decided to re-post after all - why should I delete it!

Oh that's a shame

Love the portrait of your daughter, looks like it was a good move on your part :)

Colin Greenless

He really seems to engage with the couple almost always doing a pre-wedding shoot. The photos always take advantange of the conditions the photos taken at a wedding where it had snowed were stunning.

n.b. He is on TP

I can't recall another togs name but.will post it later. She is not very well known but has a very unique vintage style.

Thanks Richard, that is very kind of you but I don't think I rank with some of the others mentioned.

Happy New Year!

Thanks Iain and "mrgas" but I think Jonas is superb ... maybe not all his processing - but boy he has a great eye for an image ......

I really like Chloe Brown - Caught by the light I think she goes by.
Kirsten Mavrick is great too and I like Rosie Hardy but I'm not sure if I think the way she process more than the photos themselves. Comes across as a really nice girl tho

I love laughing at you guys! If only you could accomplish 5% of what I have done! Will never happen. What a joke!

Woah! Hang on there a minute......this isn't written in 3rd person, this can't really be Crash. Jimmy knows that Crash only talks like this!

If that really is Crash Taylor then I will happily use that short paragraph in my marketing. Not many people would accept that kind of arrogance no matter how good the photographer. And sometimes life takes a turn for the worse (believe me I know). And when it does be prepared for the people you look down on to walk on by.

Arrogance isn't a trait I'd hope to learn on this never ending journey.

It looks like a hack if you click the signature links..........Mods?

Awesome. Nash has been training inferior photographers for many years, teaching everything from how to use twitter, past blowing smoke up each others asses to narcissim in 5 easy steps but in all that time Nash has never seen anyone say anything as completely awesomely stupid as that.

Nash runs courses on videotogrographicalism, and has been for years, it looks like you're on catch up.
