White Balance Settings

Hi,
When using studio flash is it best to set a custom white balance, use the flash setting or just use auto wb?

CWB is best, flash setting is usually somewhere near, AWB is totally wrong, as it will set the white balance of the ambient light, not the flash

It took me a while to work out that what you described was what was happening, Garry
