White background and flat

I was working in a studio today and they used a cloth background instead of paper one. the background on the cloth is creased big time. how can i easily just white all that background area easily using PSE7??

there are a few ways .. depends how creased the sheet was/is.

would it be possible to show a photo so we could decide the best way for you to do it..:shrug:

Normally with a white background, you would not see the creases in the final image.

In order to make the background white you need a stop or two more light there than on your subject - to over expose the background (and any creases) which should render it totally white.

If you see creases, you probably didn't have enough light on your backdrop - compared to that on your subject.
