after sorting out the main lenses and accessories thought i had it all planned out but im stuck with what body.

initially aimed at the D3s, but then realizing i would be doing a lot of studio work and landscapes etc the D3x being more appropriate. unfortunately i have my first wedding lined up soon than expected, and so i'm being dragged back to the D3s but worried ill miss the resolution of the D3x when in the studio. need some advise from the users. i could buy the D3x and hire the "s" for the wedding?

regards

chris

Personally, I'd go for the D3s for much better ISO performance, increase FPS rate and also cheaper. I reckon 12 Mp should be more than enough unless you are printing big or needing to crop in close.

Heavy cropping can be an issue, but agree that the s would be my pick.
