The 430 is a cracking gun for the price, I think its quite cheap actually. Wont hold you back.

Very importantly, its guaranteed to work fully with all current and future Canon bodies, inc wireless ettl. Nissin, Metz, Jessops et al are all just interpreting the canon coding and signalling according to what they think is correct, whereas Canon know their own system.

Course, if you are looking for an rf602 trigger, then that's manual only, no ETTL at all. Any old manual gun will work fine in these circumstances.
 
The new version of the Di622- the Mk2 works perfectly well with the RF-602s both on the hotshoe and via the sync port. You should be looking at paying around £120 or so for it.
 
I got RF 602s for the very same flash because of problems with my cheaper triggers not working with it. No problems triggering it with these ones.
