Which TP photo really sticks in your mind?

Wow, some unbelievable shots here that I haven't seen before, and powerful stuff from EG.

I love the one of the owl above. I remember one shot though that stands out for me, it was a shot someone put up of their daughter in the kitchen in b&w. It was taken on a D700 with a 50mm, and it was then that I new I desperately had to have that combo and wouldn't rest until I did. Not mind blowing stuff, but a cracking shot all the same.

This one, I took it and I am proud of it

The pictures in here stand testament to the true powers an image can have. Gary's post sent shivers down my spine that are still tingling now. The crying miner - no words can do that image justice, and nor do they need to.

Byker28i's iconic 'bridge shot' was an early fave of mine, too :naughty: ...

Cheers Chap. Quite a turning point for me that photo. I'd done a 10 week photography course and entered POTY here to focus and refine my photography skills. It's the shot that won the months theme of Urban and gave me the confidence to move on to bigger and better things.

It is an absolutely superb shot

any black to white in selenium toning...its magic stuff, but not free

Bloody 'ell, Gary that was one raw emotive post. Maybe cathartic and damn fine prose.
