Hi all

Been using my D70 now for the last 3 plus years and been feeling I need an upgrade for about the last year...

Originally I was going to buy a D200, then ran out of funds...

Now there's a D300 - but sales have tailed off a bit lately, hence at the moment I don't have the funds...

So the questions are -

Do I buy a second hand D200 as an obvious upgrade - but would I always wish I'd bought the D300?
Would a new Fuji S5PRO be a better idea - I only shoot landscapes so speed isn't an issue, but the different sensor of the S5 may give better results?
Do I keep my fingers crossed that the next two fairs I do give better sales results...but then risk annoying the wife by spending all the money on a D300 and having none left to go away after Xmas?

Thoughts please everyone!

Cheers

Si

Personally, I am almost in the same situation with the D50. I have decided that I'm going to get the D300 of the two nikon options. Simply because, although I shoot alot of landscapes, I also shoot other subjects as well, so for me the newer internals of the D300 win over for me. Also, the D200 is old technology now, and although cheap, it is not worth buying into now.

As for the fuji, I can't say really, as I have never used it.

If it's landscapes and the associated colours that are your main field, get the S5 Pro.

It can be used for other things as well. Have a look at Flickr and search on "S5 Pro".

I love the Fuji S5 Pro for landscape:)
