This spring I hope to install a beginner 3-head studio flash ina small 2.25 metre high loft room set up to add basic product and portrait shooting to my training sessions. I'm terribly out of date with this kind of gear having only ancient Monolites in my corner of an industrial unit studio space where I shoot products. I'd therefore appreciate some suggestions as to brand and spec of the prospective gear.
The kit needs to be enthusiast or light pro stuff, the kind of kit my punters would buy themselves - this keeps the gear appropriate and gives me the best chance of doing a deal with maker or distributor.
My punters will want to learn to shoot products for the web, beauty portraits, classic portraits - Hemmingway by Karsch style, and character portraits.
I like the look of Elemental kit but obviously there's loads of other brands. Full 3 head kit and acccessories, excluding backdrops and meter should ideally be in the £500-£650 price range.
I'd appreciate any suggestions re brand and spec Thanks, John
